The Greer Group has a great direct hire opportunity for an Inside Sales & Product Specialist to join a growing industrial equipment team in High Point, NC.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who understands equipment, parts, or mechanical products and enjoys helping customers find the right solutions. You'll work directly with customers, equipment dealers, distributors, and the outside sales team to answer product questions, recommend solutions, prepare quotes, and support sales.

We're especially interested in candidates with backgrounds in construction equipment, heavy equipment parts, automotive parts, hydraulics, equipment dealerships, or technical B2B sales. You don't have to have held this exact job title to be a great fit.

What We Offer

• Salary: $55,000–$68,000 annually
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Employment: Full-time, direct hire
• Location: High Point, NC
• Occasional overtime as needed

What You'll Do

• Help customers and dealers identify the right products for their equipment and applications.
• Answer product questions and provide technical information and recommendations.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and product information for customers.
• Follow up on quotes and sales opportunities to help move business forward.
• Build relationships with dealers, distributors, end-users, and the outside sales team.
• Process customer orders and verify pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to support customer needs.
• Develop expertise in specialized equipment products, their applications, and their benefits.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, automotive or equipment parts, industrial products, or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in inside sales, parts sales, equipment sales, service advising, customer support, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Ability to understand customer needs and explain products or technical information clearly.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning computer-based sales or order systems.
• A customer-focused mindset and interest in building product knowledge.

Experience with construction equipment dealerships, hydraulic systems, heavy equipment parts, or technical B2B sales is a strong plus.
