Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner, Global Commercial Strategy

Senior Director of HR Business Partnership role supporting Global Commercial Strategy and related functions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Reports to Head of HR for Commercialization and provides strategic talent and organizational guidance aligned with commercial transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as strategic HR advisor to senior leaders across Commercialization functions on organization design and talent management
- Partner with Commercial Transformation leadership to execute transformation initiatives and support new operating models
- Support talent strategy including critical role assessment, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives
- Guide leaders through organizational change with coaching and data-informed talent decisions
- Collaborate with shared People Advisor to align strategic priorities with HR program execution
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of HR experience in complex, matrixed organizations
- Proven HR Business Partner background with senior stakeholder influence
- Experience in organizational design, talent management, and change initiatives
- Commercial, pricing, access, or strategy function exposure preferred
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate strategy into people implications
Compensation: $227,200 - $340,800 base, plus annual bonus and equity awards
