Concierge (Full-Time) Starting Wage: $23.00 per hour InterContinental The Clement Monterey – Monterey, CA Schedule Requirements:

• Full-Time, Non-Exempt position.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on business needs.

As a Concierge, you will serve as a key ambassador of our luxury hotel experience by providing personalized service, thoughtful recommendations, and exceptional guest care from arrival through departure. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people, and takes pride in delivering world-class hospitality. What You'll Do:

• Provide personalized guest services and recommendations for local dining, attractions, transportation, and entertainment.
• Assist guests with reservations, special requests, and transportation arrangements.
• Coordinate seamlessly with Front Office, Housekeeping, Bell Services, and other hotel departments to exceed guest expectations.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of hotel amenities, local events, and Monterey area attractions.
• Assist with VIP guest arrangements and special amenities.
• Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, radio communication, and in person.
• Uphold InterContinental brand standards and deliver exceptional service at every guest interaction.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous Concierge or luxury guest service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems preferred.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of Monterey Peninsula attractions, dining, and cultural experiences is highly desirable.
