We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Crew Leader & Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supervising a team of landscape crew members and delivering top-quality maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a crew of 2–5 team members .
- Drive and operate fleet trucks vehicles to transport crew, tools, and materials between job sites.
- Ensure all maintenance activities — mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and clean-ups .
- Train and mentor team members in best horticultural and safety practices .
- Monitor quality, efficiency, and ensure all work is completed on schedule and to standard .
- Conduct equipment and safety inspections ; ensure compliance with DOT and company policies.
- Communicate daily with clients, account managers, and team members .
- Track attendance, materials usage, and time accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of professional landscape maintenance experience .
- 1+ years of proven leadership or crew management experience .
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience driving fleet trucks and towing trailers .
- Knowledge of mowing, pruning, irrigation, and landscape maintenance equipment.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in varying weather conditions.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.
Dress Code & PPE
- Required attire: khaki pants or jeans, work boots.
- Provided: all PPE (personal protective equipment).
