Pay: $15.00–$18.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 2–10 hours per week
Availability: Weekends required (Flexible - not required every weekend/ opportunity based)
Work Location: In person; Powder Springs and event locations throughout Metro Atlanta

About the Role

Mosaic Events ATL is seeking a dependable, punctual, and physically capable Event Logistics & Rental Delivery Assistant to support equipment deliveries, event installations, and rental operations.

The primary focus of this position is safely loading, transporting, delivering, setting up, breaking down, and returning event equipment. Inventory may include tables, chairs, backdrops, inflatables, photo booths, arches, décor, and other rental items.

This is a hands-on role for someone who works well under time-sensitive conditions, takes pride in completing deliveries accurately, and understands the importance of arriving at event locations on schedule. Additional opportunities may be available to assist with balloon décor, inventory maintenance, content creation, and other areas of event production.

Primary ResponsibilitiesRental Delivery and Transportation

• Load and unload rental equipment safely and efficiently
• Deliver and retrieve rental items from client and event locations throughout Metro Atlanta
• Follow delivery schedules, routes, and event timelines
• Confirm that all required equipment is included before departing
• Ensure rental items arrive clean, secure, and free from preventable damage
• Communicate promptly regarding delays, access concerns, missing items, or delivery issues
• Assist with customer handoffs and provide courteous, professional service
• Secure equipment properly during transportation

Event Setup and Breakdown

• Set up and break down tables, chairs, backdrops, arches, inflatables, photo booths, décor, and related equipment
• Follow diagrams, checklists, photographs, and verbal instructions
• Complete installations safely, accurately, and within scheduled timeframes
• Assist with event-day logistics and last-minute adjustments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area during installations
• Return equipment to the proper storage location after each event

Inventory and Equipment Maintenance

• Prepare and stage orders for upcoming deliveries
• Count, inspect, clean, and organize rental inventory
• Report damaged, missing, or unsafe equipment immediately
• Assist with painting, repairing, restoring, and maintaining inventory
• Help keep vehicles, equipment, tools, and storage areas organized
• Support routine inventory checks

Additional Event Support

Depending on business needs and the candidate’s interests, this position may also assist with:

• Balloon décor and creative installations
• Custom backdrops, signage, and event décor
• Behind-the-scenes and finished-event content
• Photo booth or inflatable operations
• Event preparation and project checklists

Required Qualifications

Candidates must:

• Be at least 18 years old; high school students who meet the age requirement may apply
• Have a valid driver’s license and a safe driving history
• Have reliable transportation to the Mosaic Events ATL work location
• Be available on weekends, including some early mornings and late evenings
• Be comfortable working a flexible schedule of approximately 2–10 hours per week
• Be able to safely lift, carry, push, and move at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Be comfortable performing repetitive physical work, including standing, bending, lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading
• Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions
• Be punctual and able to follow time-sensitive delivery schedules
• Be comfortable driving throughout Metro Atlanta
• Follow safety procedures and equipment-handling instructions
• Communicate professionally with clients, venues, vendors, and team members
• Be dependable, organized, responsive, and willing to accept feedback

Experience with delivery services, moving, warehouse operations, event setup, furniture assembly, landscaping, construction, athletics, or other physically demanding work is helpful but not required.
