Accounting Specialist
Accounting Professionals with Strong Excel Skills – We Want to Hear From You!
Are you an accounting professional who is comfortable with technology and enjoys working in Excel? We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in AP/AR, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general accounting support who is also confident learning and navigating business systems.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with financial data, and has strong Excel skills. Experience with formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and some familiarity with macros would be especially valuable. Oracle experience is a plus, but not required.
Location: Fort Worth, TX | Onsite
Pay: $25.00–$30.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and general accounting functions
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain accounting and business records
- Navigate ERP and internal systems to enter, research, and retrieve information
- Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets used for accounting and operational purposes
- Utilize Excel formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and other functions to organize information
- Assist with existing Excel macros and spreadsheet troubleshooting as needed
- Help identify practical ways to make spreadsheets and everyday processes more efficient
- Assist with reporting and special projects
- Provide additional administrative, sourcing, and order-status support as business needs require
Qualifications
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related financial experience
- Working knowledge of general accounting processes
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working with an ERP, accounting software, or similar business system
- Comfortable learning new technology and systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities
Preferred, but Not Required
- Oracle ERP or Oracle-based system experience
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and PivotTables
- Familiarity with Excel macros
- Experience improving or maintaining Excel-based processes
- General interest in technology and finding more efficient ways to complete work
