Analyst, Payroll (Hybrid)

Responsibilities Assist in the day‑to‑day processing of U.S. payroll operations for a large organization with 129 pay groups across multiple frequencies (weekly, bi‑weekly and semi‑monthly). Review and ensure payroll activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations. Work closely with payroll vendors to ensure all desktop procedures are updated and approved. Coordinate test payrolls with ADP, participate in testing, review the outcome, and troubleshoot issues. Review, audit and analyze data inputs including salary adjustments, bonuses, special calculations, and deductions to minimize data errors, identify anomalies, and resolve root causes. Support various payroll initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, process improvements, key projects, and audits. Partner with RTX departments to research and resolve complex pay issues, recommend and implement mitigation efforts to prevent recurrence. Generate reports to provide weekly payroll counts. Support the ongoing alignment of RTX payroll practices and governance standards. Track annual payroll calendars and payroll schedules to guarantee compliance with deadlines. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience. Payroll experience preferably gained in a large corporation or outsourced/BPO environment. Direct exposure to ADP Enterprise, Workday, Globalview, or other enterprise payroll systems. Qualifications – Preferred Strong analytical and systems analysis skills with knowledge of high‑tech pay modeling tools and databases. Proven expertise in problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution. Strong professional and interpersonal skills, including tact, patience, and courtesy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Office, proficiency in MS Excel, and data management systems to handle high‑volume employee data. Self‑starter able to work effectively in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative cross‑functional team environment. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Knowledge of tax withholding, voluntary deductions, and payroll processing. Experience in an active, advanced customer‑service environment; preferably in payroll, customer care, or benefits related industry. Prior experience with or knowledge of process improvement methodologies. Benefits & Compensation Salary range: 57,200 USD – 108,800 USD (good faith estimate).
