Shifts: 36 hours guaranteed, Every other weekend & holiday


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN for a travel assignment in Auburn, NY. The successful candidate will possess 2+ years of recent step-down experience and be familiar with diverse patient diagnoses related to cardiac and respiratory conditions. This role demands a strong understanding of critical care procedures in a dynamic hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Step-Down RN

• Provide post-care for heart catheterization patients
• Perform TR bands and post-vascular procedure monitoring
• Conduct frequent vital signs and neurovascular checks
• Manage cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation and cardiac drips
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP and assist with chest tube insertion/removal

Requirements of the Step-Down RN

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency in cardiac and emergency care skills
• Experience with IV start and PICC line management
• Adept in infection prevention and PPE use
• Familiarity with Allscripts charting system
