West Bradenton Dental is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our team! We’re an easygoing, fast-paced, and hardworking office that truly values teamwork and patient care. We’re looking for someone who has a positive attitude, enjoys what they do, and is excited to be part of a collaborative, supportive environment.

Schedule

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

• Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• 2-3 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist is preferred, but open to considering a motivated new graduate!
• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health
• Clinical needs as required by office

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position
• Prolonged periods sitting and standing
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
• Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
• As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
