Position Summary Under the direction of the Director, the OLP Clinician provides behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families through New York State's Other Licensed Practitioner (OLP) program. Services are delivered using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including individual, family, and group therapy, in home, community, and office-based settings. Reporting to the Director, this role is responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, providing ongoing therapeutic interventions, maintaining timely documentation, and supporting positive client outcomes while exercising independent clinical judgment. Regular travel throughout the Bronx and Manhattan is required. Children’s Aid annually serves children and their families at over forty sites in New York, as well as through three national program models. Children’s Aid is concentrating its efforts on creating cradle-through-college pathways in high-need neighborhoods, with a focus on children’s health, family stability, education, and social and emotional development. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Treatment Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify behavioral health needs and develop individualized treatment plans for children, adolescents, and their families. Maintain a caseload of approximately fourteen clients. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches, as appropriate. Deliver crisis intervention services by phone or in person, as clinically indicated. Monitor treatment progress, evaluate client goals, and adjust interventions to support positive clinical outcomes. Provide services in home, community, and office-based settings in accordance with program requirements. Documentation & Compliance Complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation accurately and within established time limits. Submit billing encounters and required service documentation in a timely manner. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Medicaid, and all applicable federal, state, organizational, and program regulations governing behavioral health services. Quality Improvement & Collaboration Utilize evidence-based practices and participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to support high-quality behavioral health services. Communicate client progress, treatment updates, and identified challenges with supervisors, interdisciplinary team members, and other authorized stakeholders, as appropriate. Collaborate effectively with families, providers, schools, and community partners to coordinate care and support treatment goals. Utilize agency resources responsibly while maintaining high standards of clinical practice and service delivery. General Responsibilities Travel throughout the Bronx and Manhattan to provide home- and community-based behavioral health services. Participate in required supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field required. Current New York State licensure as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families. Experience providing home- and community-based behavioral health services required. Experience utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions preferred. Knowledge of trauma-informed care and the impact of trauma and violence on children and families. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children, families, professionals, and individuals from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to exercise sound clinical judgment, manage an independent caseload, and complete documentation within required periods. Ability to travel throughout the Bronx and Manhattan to provide services in home and community settings. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Children's Aid
