Fundraising Coordinator

The Queer Film Collective (QFC) is seeking a Fundraising Coordinator to support the organization’s fundraising and development efforts. Working under the direction of the Director of Fundraising, this role will help execute fundraising initiatives that support QFC’s programs, operations, and long-term growth.

The Fundraising Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day work of QFC’s fundraising efforts, including researching potential funders, maintaining donor and prospect information, supporting grant applications, assisting with fundraising campaigns, preparing outreach materials, and helping track fundraising activities and deadlines.

Key responsibilities may include:

• Researching foundations, grants, corporate sponsors, and other potential funding opportunities
• Assisting with grant research, applications, and reporting
• Supporting donor and sponsor outreach and stewardship
• Maintaining accurate donor, prospect, and funder records
• Assisting with fundraising campaigns and related communications
• Tracking deadlines, applications, outreach, and follow-ups
• Supporting the Director of Fundraising with fundraising projects and initiatives
• Helping organize fundraising materials, resources, and documentation
• Identifying potential fundraising opportunities and bringing them to the Director of Fundraising’s attention

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and excited to learn about nonprofit fundraising. Previous experience in fundraising, grant writing, nonprofit development, research, partnerships, or administrative support is helpful but not required. We welcome applicants who are eager to develop their skills while contributing to a growing organization.

The Fundraising Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Fundraising or Executive Director (pending role fulfillment) and will work collaboratively with organizational leadership and other QFC team members.

At this time, all QFC staff positions are volunteer-based. One of QFC’s primary goals is to build the resources necessary to create paid opportunities for our team. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit development while helping build the financial foundation of an organization dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ filmmakers.
