Technology Transactions Attorney

Our client, a technology-focused law firm serving VC-backed startups and established technology companies, is seeking a Technology Transactions Attorney to join its growing practice on a fully remote, contract-to-hire basis.This is a hands-on, client-facing role for an attorney who can independently draft, negotiate, and manage sophisticated technology transactions while advising clients on issues involving artificial intelligence, data privacy, intellectual property, and commercial risk. The selected attorney will work directly with technology companies, manage negotiations, and serve as a day-to-day advisor across a broad range of commercial matters.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, negotiate, and manage SaaS and on-premise software license agreements, hardware/software/content transactions, and other complex B2B commercial agreementsReview, revise, and negotiate vendor agreements on behalf of clients, including marketing services agreements, platform agreements, and data processing agreementsAdvise clients on artificial intelligence, data privacy, intellectual property, open-source licensing, and related issues arising in commercial technology transactionsManage and grow client relationships directly, serving as the day-to-day point of contact, advising across clients’ contract portfolios, and identifying opportunities to expand engagements over timeAssess legal and commercial risks, develop practical solutions, and guide negotiations to successful outcomesDevelop and maintain contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and fallback positionsUse AI-assisted legal tools for document review, issue spotting, and playbook development while exercising independent legal judgmentCollaborate with attorneys across the firm while independently managing assigned matters
