Overview Job Summary and Responsibilities Sign-on bonuses up to $25,000 and education assistance (student loan payoff) up to $24,000 for eligible hires. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be at the forefront of cardiac care, utilizing imaging technology to impact life-saving diagnostic and interventional procedures. Every day, you will perform specialized interventional diagnostic and therapeutic examinations of the heart and blood vessels under physician guidance, preparing patients, operating advanced radiologic equipment, and contributing essential data for interpretation. You will ensure the safe, efficient operation of equipment while maintaining mastery of current standards and protocols. To be successful, you will combine advanced technical proficiency in cardiovascular imaging with a meticulous eye for detail, patient safety, and a drive for continuous learning within a dynamic and collaborative Cath Lab team. Responsibilities Provide technical support as needed. With the guidance of the Coordinator, Manager, Director or Provider, assist physicians, Nurses, and Rad Techs. Operate and maintain the systems under the direction of a physician or licensed person. Respond rapidly to the initiation, maintenance or troubleshooting of all cardiac systems in the OR, ICU, CCU, Cath Lab, EP, IR, and ER. Assist with the transport of patients receiving support and procedures away from the patient’s room. Maintain cleanliness and storage of all equipment. Complete departmental documentation for record keeping and patient charges. Communicate with the Manager or Coordinator about all critical department activities to ensure proper coordination of activities and resources.
