IT Support Specialist

Baltimore Country Club is looking to hire a full‑time IT Support Specialist to assist our IT Department. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

As an IT Support Specialist, you will interact with every department at the club. Your daily tasks include setting up new hires with desktop computers and printers, providing access to shared files, and configuring e‑mail accounts. You will also prepare for meetings and presentations, manage audiovisual equipment for club events, assist with conference calls, and perform general maintenance and repairs on technology equipment. This position will also be responsible for setting up and supporting audiovisual equipment for club events, including TVs, projection systems, screens, and related AV technology. The role works at both the Roland Park Clubhouse and the Five Farms Clubhouse in Lutherville.

QUALIFICATIONS

One year of hands‑on experience with network deployment and equipment. Understanding of basic computer/network concepts and terminology. Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Inventory management skills. Audio/Video basic event setup experience. Network+ certification or equivalent experience/knowledge. A+ certification or equivalent experience/knowledge. Basic understanding of LAN/WAN technology. Experience troubleshooting PCs, scanners, printers, and portable handheld terminals. Ability to configure computer systems for new installations or re‑images. Two‑year associate’s degree or equivalent technical study, plus 1–3 years of experience in a production environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating in person and via phone/radio with peers, managers, and vendors. Ability to stand/walk for 10–12 hours at a time. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Highly self‑motivated and member‑centric. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Ability to prioritize work based on department and production objectives. Perform other related duties as required. Do you work well as part of a team?
