Mobile Tire Technician

Position Overview At Total Tire Solutions, and trusted partner True North Fleet Services, are looking for an OTR Mobile Tire Technician to provide roadside and on‑site tire service support for commercial trucks and trailers. This role is responsible for performing tire repairs, replacements, inspections and emergency roadside assistance in both yard and field environments. Key Responsibilities Respond to roadside service calls for commercial truck and trailer tire repairs and replacements Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing and installations on heavy‑duty vehicles Conduct tire inspections and identify wear patterns, damage and safety concerns Repair tires according to industry and company standards Service customers in fleet yards, customer facilities and roadside environments Maintain accurate service records and work order documentation Operate and maintain a mobile service truck, tools and equipment Follow all safety procedures and DOT regulations Provide professional customer service while representing True North Fleet Services Participate in on‑call rotation and emergency roadside response as needed Qualifications Previous commercial tire service experience preferred Experience with roadside assistance or mobile service operations is a plus Ability to safely mount, dismount, repair and replace commercial truck tires Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and manage service calls efficiently Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver’s license required Ability to lift and handle heavy truck tires and equipment Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with commercial vehicles preferred What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Company provided service vehicle and specialized equipment Consistent workload with a growing customer base Ongoing training and skill development Career advancement opportunities within a growing national organization Supportive team environment focused on safety and success Why This Role Works This isn’t just a tire service job.
