Patients typically visit our office for tailored sessions designed to address their specific orthopedic issues, ensuring that they receive the best possible treatment in a supportive and professional setting.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect the physical therapy treatment process with the primary aim of preventing disability, alleviating pain, enhancing muscle function, and restoring and maintaining optimal performance abilities.Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic tests that assess muscle, nerve, joint, and movement capabilities, utilizing evidence-based assessment techniques.Oversee and guide the physical therapy assistants, ensuring the effective implementation of care plans while providing support and mentoring as needed.Develop comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with clients, adjusting strategies based on their progress, and actively participating in the interdisciplinary team's case conferences to enhance collective treatment outcomes.Engage with clients and families in their rehabilitation journeys, providing education on therapeutic activities and promoting independence in daily living through tailored recommendations that pertain to their home environment.Maintain accurate clinical records, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, all while ensuring timely submission in adherence to company standards and regulations.Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as manual exercises, traction, and modalities involving physical agents to provide holistic care.Stay current on industry best practices and regulatory requirements, contributing to an evolving treatment culture at Triumph and Wellness.Patient Population / Client FocusAs an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work predominantly with adult and elderly clients dealing with a myriad of orthopedic conditions. These may include post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility-related deficits. Your expertise will be critical in empowering clients to reach their rehabilitation goals, emphasizing continual improvement and independence.QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current Physical Therapy licensure (in good standing) in the state of New Jersey.A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist in acute care or home care settings, although candidates with relevant internships will also be considered.Current CPR certification.A valid driver's license and automobile insurance for mobility to client homes, if required.A passion for clinical excellence, integrity, and a strong commitment to patient outcomes.Preferred ExperienceExperience in outpatient orthopedics, specifically with conditions such as joint replacements, sports injuries, and rehabilitation from acute injuries.Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient documentation and communication effectively.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education.
