Associate Financial Advisor The Associate Financial Advisor works with an established Financial Advisor to serve clients, grow the branch, and positively impact communities in alignment with firm strategy. Key Responsibilities Gather client information and suitability to deeply understand clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns and create a personalized, comprehensive strategy. Meet with clients regularly to track progress, uncover additional assets, proactively address emerging concerns, and adjust strategies. Partner with clients’ professional team members such as attorneys, accountants, and trust officers to fully understand their goals. Research portfolio performance, cost/fees, asset allocation, and changes to portfolio construction, and make recommendations to clients. Collaborate with the FA and branch team to align on and adjust the branch business plan to increase effectiveness and achieve results. Cultivate relationships with organizations and businesses to maintain community presence and obtain referrals and new business. Coordinate with the FA to assist in acquiring new clients through face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies. Continually develop personally and professionally. Qualifications High School Diploma/Equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required; registrations may be obtained at Edward Jones during the assigned study period if not currently registered. At least 3‑5 years of relevant experience in the securities industry preferred. FINRA licenses required within three months; state insurance licenses required. As an associate, you are required to complete all ongoing training offered by the firm and regulatory authorities, and maintain license in good standing.
