Key Highlights - Weekly pay range: $2,139-$2,204 per week - Guaranteed hours: 48 per week - Contract duration: 8 weeks - Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts - Start date: 08/17/2026 - EPIC backfill with recent EPIC and Cerner experience required Responsibilities - Deliver coordinated nursing care for neonatal patients according to established standards and the nursing process - Collect relevant data, assess, analyze, and develop an individualized care plan; implement and evaluate care - Administer medications and therapies as ordered; monitor patient response and adjust as needed - Collaborate with the patient's family and multidisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning for continuity of care - Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate duties appropriately - Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety, infection control, and quality standards Requirements - Current RN licensure in the state of practice (California) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required - Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor required (BLS/HS-BLS/RQI BLS acceptable per policy) - Facility-specific certification: BLS (as above) - EPIC and Cerner experience required (recent and proficient) - Education: BSN preferred; at least two years of recent NICU or acute care experience preferred - Ability to work in a hospital NICU setting and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team Benefits and Support - 24/7 recruiter and travel support - Dedicated assignment support - Extension opportunities for ongoing assignments Please note Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
