Job Overview Position: Piano Instructor (Garfield Community Center) Location: Garfield Community Center – Seattle, WA 98122 Position Type: Part Time (Seasonal, starting in Fall 2026, may extend) Salary: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour (may earn up to $43.00/hr with continued employment) Schedule: Thursdays, 6:30‑7:30pm. Start Date: September2026. ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. Responsibilities Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate piano lessons. Plan, lead, and implement course‑appropriate activities for each lesson, focusing on technique development. Complete required administrative reports, such as attendance logs and incident reports. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Experience working with kids, teens, and adults. Experience and knowledge of piano. Must pass a Washington State Police criminal background check. Compensation & Benefits Starting Pay: $33.00 – $35.00 per hour.
