Conduct thorough assessments for infants, children, adults, and elderly people using standardized measures and keen observational skills.

Craft individualized treatment strategies aimed at meeting both short-term goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.

Deliver targeted speech therapy focused on enhancing communication skills, language competence, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing ability.

Engage in collaborative practices with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to devise unified care plans.

Educate patients and families with advice and strategies to bolster progress outside of therapeutic sessions.

Participate in inpatient evaluations and interventions as needed, supporting seamless care throughout the patient's journey.

Ensure detailed and prompt documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational requirements.

Commit to ongoing learning and professional development, remaining abreast of advancements in the field through education and peer engagement.

Issuance of a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.

Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not currently ASHA-certified.

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Essential: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days following employment.

Expertise in evidence-based practices for various age groups, with a robust understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing concerns.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Ability to adapt therapeutic methods to accommodate varied cultural and linguistic contexts.

Strong clinical reasoning, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in managing electronic health records and adhering to documentation protocols.
