7on/7off Hospital Phlebotomist - 2nd Shift

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for a 7on/7off second shift position in Birmingham, Alabama. The role involves collecting blood specimens using various techniques, processing patient information, and providing customer service in a laboratory setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information accurately and process billing and payments
- Prepare specimens for testing and maintain information logs
- Provide customer service and complete administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6 months or more phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program preferred
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record if applicable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
