Parrish Tire Company is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who wants to begin or grow a career in Human Resources while gaining hands-on experience in recruiting, talent management, employee records, HR systems, and general HR administration.

No prior Human Resources experience is required. One year of recruiting and talent-management experience is preferred.

The HR Coordinator will support recruiting and talent-acquisition activities and provide administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position will frequently interact with applicants, employees, managers, temporary-staffing agencies, and other business partners. The successful candidate must provide excellent customer service, maintain confidentiality, stay organized, and communicate professionally.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Post open positions and assist with sourcing qualified candidates.
• Review applications and conduct initial candidate prescreens.
• Coordinate interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Maintain accurate applicant records in the applicant tracking system.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR team members regarding staffing needs and recruiting progress.
• Assist with candidate pipelines, recruiting metrics, and other talent-management initiatives.
• Represent Parrish Tire Company at job fairs and recruiting events.
• Collect, review, and submit temporary-employee timecards.
• Maintain confidential personnel and HR files.
• Scan, organize, file, and retrieve employee documents.
• Answer the HR telephone line, assist with routine questions, take messages, and route calls appropriately.
• Prepare and distribute employee birthday lists.
• Coordinate ADP birthday and service-anniversary notifications.
• Prepare and route pay-change and headcount-request documentation for approval.
• Assist with company events, employee celebrations, and parties.
• Support special HR projects and departmental initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed to meet changing departmental and business needs.

Required qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous Human Resources experience is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional and courteous telephone presence.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Basic computer skills, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, data entry, and electronic document management.
• Willingness and ability to learn HR systems, policies, procedures, and employment-related requirements.

Preferred qualifications include:

• One year of experience in recruiting and talent management.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system, HR information system, or ADP.
• Experience working in a multi-location, automotive, service, distribution, or similar business environment.
