Authorization Rep I - BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy

Authorization Representative I Location: In-office 1–2 days per week; alternate locations may be considered if within commuting distance. Schedule: 8‑hour shift 11:30 am–8:00 pm (EST), Monday–Friday; additional hours may be needed. Responsibilities Enter re‑authorizations into the portal and ensure accurate completion of re‑authorization forms. Submit completed re‑authorization forms to the appropriate insurance plans. Maintain a log of all re‑authorizations submitted. Follow up with the patient’s insurance company or physician office by phone, email or spreadsheets to track re‑authorization status. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience processing pharmacy prior authorizations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences Specialty pharmacy experience highly preferred. Certified pharmacy technician desired. Salary range for this position is $18.15 to $27.23 per hour (Denver, CO).
