Position Overview At RIS Insulation Supply (RIS), Outside Sales Professionals are trusted advisors who drive growth through strong B2B relationships and value‑driven solutions. In the field, you’ll uncover opportunities, support clients, and fuel long‑term success. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales Support Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships Professional and courteous ongoing contact with customers before, during and after a sale Maintain relationships with key influencers of assigned contractors and/or strategic partners Make sales calls to new and existing customers, architects, contractors, designers, and building owners Develop and deliver sales presentations for new and existing customers in coordination with internal or vendor sales representatives Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Follow all safety protocols and OSHA requirements Use proper lifting techniques Adhere to driving regulations such as wearing a seatbelt Attend required company and vendor training sessions Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 50 lbs. using proper lifting procedures Occasional driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other equipment Frequent lifting of building materials weighing approximately 25 lbs.; occasionally heavier Support the Foundation in Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice Other duties may be assigned Qualifications Effective communication, negotiation and computer skills with a drive to succeed Great interpersonal skills and social competency Professional demeanor, organized and reliable Ambition, strong work ethic, and a student mentality Result‑driven attitude Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred At least two years of sales experience in the building materials industry preferred Background in fiberglass insulation, spray foam insulation, or related accessories helpful Proficient in Microsoft Office products Compensation and Benefits Reports to Branch Manager.
