Dental Hygienist

Dental HygienistPromotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act. This position is responsible for assisting the Dentist(s) in the direct provision of primary care dental services to patients of the center.Job responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, providing patient care, maintaining instrumentation, detecting disease, educating patients, and ensuring operation of dental equipment.Mission and customer service involve demonstrating the mission, representing the center positively, maintaining professional image, respecting diversity, practicing safe work habits, collaborating to solve problems, complying with policies, and participating in continuous performance improvement.COVID-19: SWLA Center for Health Services (SWLA CHS) requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless an approved exemption is obtained based on medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
