Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Bring your passion for making a difference to a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Special Education Paraprofessional in a dynamic educational environment. This contract role is available immediately through the end of May 2026, providing valuable 1:1 and classroom support for students with a diverse array of needs.
Leverage your expertise to collaborate closely with dedicated teachers and specialists, while positively impacting individual learning journeys. With roles available providing both direct 1:1 assistance and broader classroom support, you'll play a central role in fostering positive academic, social, and behavioral growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated patience and empathy supporting students with varying disabilities and learning needs.
- Strong oral and written communication for effective teamwork with faculty, administrators, and families.
- Experience implementing behavior support plans, using positive intervention strategies aligned with district guidelines.
- Skilled at adapting and reinforcing lessons under certified staff direction to enhance student understanding.
- Flexibility and adaptability in diverse, changing classroom settings.
- Dedication to confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical practice.
- Excellent organization, observation, and recordkeeping abilities to assist with data collection and monitoring.
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) to help students meet their goals.
Position Details:
- Start ASAP, through May 29, 2026
- 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Flexible opportunities across K-12 age groups, with both 1:1 and classroom roles
- Earn $23.00 per hour, with competitive weekly pay
