Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment and diagnosis of clients’ mental health conditions.

• Conduct both individual and couple therapy sessions aimed at promoting understanding, healing, and growth.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices while remaining flexible to adapt techniques based on patient needs.

• Continually assess and document patient progress, allowing for modifications in treatment as required.

• Facilitate support groups and workshops for clients and their families to enhance coping strategies and build community support.

• Provide referrals to other specialists when clients require additional support for specific issues beyond your scope of practice.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with therapeutic techniques and industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and substance use disorders. An understanding of family systems and the impact of addiction on family dynamics is essential. The therapist will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their challenges and enhance their ability to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
