Registered Nurse - Trauma / Neuro Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in trauma and neuro care. This position requires proficiency in various critical nursing tasks and excellent patient management skills. You will work with a team to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer blood products and manage intravenous (IV) lines, including central and peripheral lines
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with traumatic injuries, including brain and spinal injuries
• Implement and oversee patient care protocols, including heparin drips and PCA management
• Perform phlebotomy and manage wound care, including tracheostomy and surgical drains
• Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the last 5 years
• Active RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Experience with Epic documentation preferred
• Capability to manage patient ratios of 1:5-6
