Eleventh Hour Games , the studio behind the action RPG Last Epoch , is seeking a Lead Animator to drive the vision for gameplay animation while remaining hands-on in production. This role focuses on bridging the gap between high-level creative direction and technical execution in a remote, agile indie environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Leadership: Drive the vision for gameplay animation and cinematics while staying hands-on to create high-quality assets.

• Project Management: Create and facilitate project schedules, manage resources, and define workflow milestones.

• Team Mentorship: Provide actionable feedback to the animation team and manage remote performance evaluations.

• Risk Mitigation: Monitor production status and team morale to identify risks and implement early interventions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with Design, Production, and Artists to ensure visual consistency and technical feasibility.

Required Qualifications as Lead Animator

• Full-Cycle Experience: Proven experience managing animation teams through the entire game development cycle, from conception to shipping.

• Leadership Track Record: At least 2+ years of experience in a leadership or mentoring role.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert working knowledge of Maya , Unity , and/or Unreal Engine , along with project management tools like ClickUp.

• Communication: Ability to communicate openly in a remote environment and remain agile as priorities shift.

• Language (Preferred): Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Salary Estimate
