We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including but not limited to managing daily transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities:
- Record cash receipts from customers
- Track overdue accounts and make necessary calls
- Generate Purchase Orders for department heads
- Monitor status of Open purchase orders
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Review costs for optimal budget planning
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
- High precision in data entry and identifying numerical errors
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Managing recurring deadlines (monthly, quarterly, annually) in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work under pressure
