Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack, route, identify, and label specimens accurately
- Pack and ship specimens to appropriate testing facilities
- Enter patient information and resolve problem specimens
- Meet department activity and production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Passing standardized colorblindness test
