Logistics Coordinator (PM Shift)

Overview Position: Logistics Coordinator (PM Shift) – Independence, OH Location: Independence, OH (on-site) Schedule: 6pm–6am, 12-hour shifts with 8-hour OT built in every other week Compensation: $23.00 per hour + annual bonus Responsibilities Forecast, adjust, and maintain the delivery schedule of bulk cryogenic gases Ensure uninterrupted supply of bulk gases to internal and external customers; handle issues in a timely manner Extensive communication and coordination with production, distribution, and sales departments within Airgas Support the Airgas Merchant Gases safety culture and assist in safe deliveries while adhering to DOT rules and regulations Utilize multiple computer-based tools such as ALTO scheduling software, PeopleNet, SCADA, PI Vision, and PowerBI Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Must be available to work any 12-hour shifts, including weekends Ability to problem-solve and quickly research solutions Excellent organizational skills in time management and resource allocation Ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications College degree with emphasis in operations management, logistics or business administration is preferred Two years of prior relevant experience preferred Experience in the transportation or logistics industry preferred Benefits Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision plans; short-term and long-term disability; life and AD&D insurance; Employee Assistance Program (EAP); pre-tax commuter benefit; parental leave; paid time off and holidays 401(k) with company match; tuition reimbursement; discounted college tuition for dependents; Airgas Scholarship Program Collective bargaining units: eligibility depends on bargaining agreement terms About Airgas and Equal Opportunity Airgas, an Air Liquide company, is a leading U.S. supplier of industrial, medical and specialty gases, hardgoods and related products; and a leading U.S. supplier of safety products.
