Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored treatment plans for couples and families.
\n
• Facilitate therapy sessions both individually and jointly for family members to address issues such as:

\n
• Alcohol and substance abuse
\n
• Physical or psychological trauma
\n
• Grief and loss
\n
• Family conflicts, including issues among siblings
\n
• Transition challenges related to divorce and remarriage
\n
• Medical and job-related stress
\n
• Parent-child conflicts
\n
• Communication challenges
\n
\n
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies and therapeutic techniques to contribute to positive patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to enhance treatment strategies and patient care outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your therapeutic efforts will be directed towards a diverse patient population encompassing individuals, couples, and families experiencing various challenges related to mental health, emotional well-being, and relationship dynamics. We aim to improve our clients' quality of life by providing tailored and effective treatment interventions that foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license within the state of Illinois.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Strong commitment to providing compassionate and professional care to patients.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to foster a therapeutic alliance.

• Experience in using telehealth resources to deliver mental health services effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, we encourage applicants with the following experiences to apply:

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.

• Previous involvement in community health clinic environments or similar settings.
\n
• A background in evidence-based treatment modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Family Systems Therapy.

• Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, with a preference for candidates available for at least 30 hours per week.
