We are currently accepting applications for a full-time or part-time faculty role as an Academic Nephrologist within the Pediatrics Department at our organization. We are in search of an exceptional board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to enhance our dynamic clinical program focused on diagnosing and treating children with kidney disorders. The selected candidate will join as the second or third member of our division, which plays a vital role in delivering both clinical and academic services that align with the missions of our children's hospital and medical college. Our group prides itself on providing exemplary clinical care and recognized teaching excellence.

The division manages an onsite Pediatric Dialysis Unit and actively participates in our comprehensive outpatient pediatrics program, which includes multidisciplinary and satellite clinics. Additionally, we benefit from a strong pediatric urology division, a transplant surgery program, and skilled interventional radiologists.

Our organization is a prominent academic medical center located in Albany, New York, the capital of the state. It serves as a Level I Trauma Center and is the primary regional hub for all adult and pediatric specialties.

The Bernard and Millie Duker Children's Hospital features a 60-bed NICU, a 19-bed PICU, and a newly established pediatric emergency department that opened in 2018, serving as the primary site for inpatient care provided by our division.
