Territory Manager, Companion Animal - North New Jersey We are a global leader in animal health. This role manages relationships with veterinary professionals in North New Jersey, driving sales of Ceva's product lines for companion animals. Location and Compensation Location: North New Jersey Base Salary: $80,000–$110,000 Commission Potential: $0–$70,000 Responsibilities and Key Duties Prepare and execute the sales plan: manage activities to meet territory objectives, complete pre‑call planning, schedule appointments, make sales presentations and close business. Develop and follow a territory route to maximize opportunities, build revenue with existing customers, and prospect new business. Track and measure progress against the sales plan, adapting tactics to ensure success. Contribute to the team effort by achieving sales results and advocating strategic products. Create confidence in Ceva’s product range and influence the healthcare team to recommend and sell Ceva products. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management. Attend and coordinate events such as local VMAs, KOL dinners, conferences and trade shows. Build long‑term relationships with veterinarians and key decision makers and collaborate with clinic staff. Increase dispensing through staff training, promotional activities, incentives and contests. Partner with Distribution Sales Representatives, enhance their knowledge and involve them in clinic activities. Collect and share market insights, competitors and customer information. Negotiate with key buyers under Ceva’s commercial policy and collaborate with the Regional Manager for larger negotiations. Complete administrative and sales reporting duties, weekly expense and territory reports, and manage expense budgets. Maintain call notes and track sales activity in the CRM tool. Provide market reports on competitors and customer changes. Uses analytics and insights to enhance decision‑making and tactical execution. Follow‑through and attention to detail. Ability to manage assigned expense budgets. Highly focused and results oriented; able to identify goals, prioritize and resolve issues early. Acceptable driving record and willingness to spend 8+ hours per day in a vehicle. Ability to travel up to 8 hours per day, including overnight travel. Fluency in reading, speaking and understanding English. Physical and Working Conditions Ability to travel via plane or car for up to 8 hours per day. Work around animals and be comfortable in veterinary clinic environments.
