About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to take the lead in its finance organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash management, working capital, internal controls, inventory valuation, production costing, and long-range planning. This role is pivotal in a growing, private equity-backed agricultural crop input manufacturing company, and the ideal candidate will have a background in a seasonal, inventory-intensive manufacturing environment, with a strong grasp of cash flow, operational finance, and manufacturing economics. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Finance at the company include providing strategic financial leadership, adopting a hands-on, player-coach approach, and working to enhance financial visibility and performance management. The role also involves building scalable financial systems and processes and serving as a trusted partner to the executive team and board. The candidate should be prepared to support the company as it enters a new phase of growth, and must be adept at strengthening financial management in a way that aligns with the company's differentiated portfolio of products and its independent dealer network.
