This client offers industry-leading compensation and benefits packages including premiere company paid medical plan, 401(k) with company match and company provided life and disability insurance.Facilities Maintenance Technician ResponsibilitiesResponsible for facility maintenance, modifications and repair of chillers, electrical, plumbing, steam systems and mechanical systems.Maintain a working understanding of equipment, systems, and facilities in order to perform maintenance effectively, under general directionInteract with, monitor and assist outside contractors and vendors in conjunction with their projectsPerform scheduled maintenance on equipment.Recommend and implement methods to increase the reliability of systemsExhibits safety awareness and safe work practicesPerforms other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business or as requested by supervisor or managementFacilities Maintenance Technician QualificationsAssociates Degree in an electrical or mechanical discipline preferred, or appropriate trade certification and at least 2 years of experience in maintenance and/or machine repairMust be able to work days, weekends and holidays as scheduledMust possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to coordinate a number of diverse responsibilities
