Dental Treatment Coordinator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are a small PPO private practice who is looking for someone who specializes in creating a positive office-patient relationship wherein you will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient experiences and streamlining treatment processes.Responsibilities:* Develop and explain treatment plans to patients in coordination with the dentist.* Educate and review the patient's understanding of treatment plans, timelines and costs. Present and explain payment options.* Schedule appointments and follow-ups to ensure seamless patient flow and tracking of treatment compliance.* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using our paperless system*Multi-tasking between different systems including Dentrix, our phone system, insurance websites and creating pre-authorizations*Assist with insurance verification and billing inquiries to facilitate patient understanding.* Stay updated on CDT codes, knowledge of treatments and insurance policies to better assist patients.Most importantly, maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment for every patient.Requirements:*Experience as a DENTAL treatment coordinator using DENTRIX with a minimum of three years.*Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain treatment plans and handle patient concerns.* Detail oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.* Knowledge of dental terminology and treatment procedures, including Implants and Invisalign.* Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient care and satisfaction.Our hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 5:30pm (patient hours are 9:00am to 5pm).
