Job Title: SAP Basis Consultant (Expert Level)

Location: Remote (Potential Travel as Needed)

Duration: 04/13/2026 - 10/30/2026

Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship Required

Job Summary


We are seeking an expert-level SAP Basis Consultant to support system landscape setup, upgrades, and ongoing Basis administration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in complex SAP environments , including repack, retrofits, and new system landscape implementations , preferably within secure or government-regulated environments.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform SAP Basis administration across complex system landscapes
• Lead and support system installations, upgrades, and migrations
• Execute repack and retrofit activities across SAP environments
• Set up and manage new SAP system landscapes
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability, reliability, and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve Basis-related issues and incidents
• Support transport management and system refresh activities
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams for integration and deployment
• Maintain documentation for system configurations and processes

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration
• Strong expertise in system landscape setup, repack, and retrofit processes
• Experience with SAP system upgrades, migrations, and installations
• Knowledge of transport management and system refresh strategies
• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
• Experience working in secure or regulated environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NS2 (SAP National Security Services) environments
• Exposure to on-premise and cloud-hosted SAP landscapes
• Background in Aerospace & Defense industry
• Familiarity with government or compliance-driven projects

Work Environment

• Remote-first role with potential travel based on client needs
• High-security, enterprise-level SAP environment

Ideal Candidate

• Deep SAP Basis technical expert with large-scale environment experience
• Comfortable working in secure/government cloud environments
• Strong problem-solver with ability to handle complex landscape transformations
