Coordinator, Operational Systems Support

Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters!ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinate equipment support intake, triage, and tracking, including downtime communications and issue escalation to the appropriate technician, vendor, or leader.Support visibility of equipment, automation, and laboratory technology system status by tracking work orders and issue resolution, and by coordinating activities across the equipment lifecycle (installation, operation, maintenance, upgrades, and retirement).Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration schedules; maintain accurate equipment records and supporting documentation.Support audits, inspections, nonconformances, CAPAs, and investigations, and monitor compliance-related metrics and readiness activities.Coordinate vendor service activities, including installations, repairs, and escalations, and track vendor performance, action items, and related contract documentation.Support equipment installations, upgrades, transfers, and operational handoffs, coordinating associated training and readiness activities.Support operational and equipment-related projects by maintaining timelines, action items, risks, and dependencies, and coordinating related stakeholder communications.Assist with the development, review, and maintenance of OSS standard operating procedures (SOPs), including document control, review scheduling, and training-alignment tracking.Maintain equipment, project, and operational performance metrics including downtime, reliability, backlog, and vendor performance; develop status reports and dashboards for leadership review.Serve as a point of contact between OSS and partner functions, including Laboratory Operations, Quality, Facilities, Procurement, and Vendors, to support coordination and communication on shared priorities.Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying documentation or process gaps and recommending procedural updates.Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the manager.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma required.3+ years of experience in an operations, laboratory, facilities, or equipment support coordination environment; equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.Experience supporting cross-functional coordination, project tracking, or vendor coordination activities.Familiarity with preventive maintenance, calibration, or compliance documentation processes.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or CMMS/work order systems a plus.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and stakeholders.Ability to work independently on daily assignments while seeking guidance on new or non-standard situations.WHO IS NEOGEN:Neogen is home to the largest genomic operation in the world!
