EDI Coordinator

Project Details - Size, Scale, Scope? How does candidate fit into this?
does a significant amount of EDI processing. EDI is currently self-automated and siloed out to the data department. Currently there are 2 EDI Coordinators on the team but 1 recently put their 2-week notice in and this opening will backfill them. Looking for someone who can handle high EDI processing and has good communication skills with multiple parties. This person would eventually roll on full time with the team and help support the EDI transactions in Europe within the next 1-2 years moving into a Team Lead capacity or even management. This person would use the IBM portal for purchase order documents during the onboarding process.

Will this person need experience with a certain data format (XML, JSON, Flat File, etc.)? XML data files, Excel documents, email templates
Does your team use EDI Message Standards that this person would need to be aware of?

• If so, what standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, Etc.)? EDIFACT

What EDI Software does your team use (BizTalk, Boomi, TrueCommerce, Cleo, etc.)? Yes, IBM and Excel primarily
Where will this EDI information/data go? Will go to the IBM Vendor Portal directly
EDI Implementation needed or just coordination? Just coordination, the systems are already in place

Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
Receive EDI data from various departments using the IBM template.
Check these templates for compliance and data errors.
Process these documents electronically through IBM's Portal.
The IBM team will process the transaction and send transaction data back to the EDI Coordinator.
The Coordinator will follow up with the IBM team for any errors or delays in processing.
