Registered Nurse - PICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel assignment. The role requires dedicated patient care within a hospital setting, with an emphasis on critical pediatric care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based experience in a PICU or similar setting.
• Active Compact State Nursing License required at submission.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
