AP/AR Specialist

About This RoleCompass Health Center is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Finance team. Your work keeps our financial operations running smoothly, managing invoices, maintaining vendor and client relationships, supporting month-end processes, and ensuring accuracy across all AP/AR activities.This is a work-from-home position; employment is limited to individuals residing in Illinois or Wisconsin.What You'll Do:Manage accounts payable using Bill and Microsoft Dynamics365Process due invoices for payments, verify invoices, and perform account reconciliations in a timely mannerEstablish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendorsSet up, verify vendor accounts, obtain W-9s, and maintain vendor filesMaintain Accounts Payable filesSupport month-end processing and queries of all APAssist with annual 1099 preparationMonitor accounts and incoming paymentsVerify, classify, compute, post, and record accounts receivable dataEstablish and maintain relationships with new and existing school clientsRespond to and resolve clients' billing issues and questionsPerform special projects as neededWho You Are:Associate's degree in accounting or finance (required)2 years' experience in accounts payable role, accounting, or similarKnowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulationsDetail-oriented and able to multi-taskGreat time management and strong organizational skillsExcellent collaboration and communication abilitiesProficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)Benefits:We offer comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, a 401(k) program with company matching, generous PTO including competitive parental leave after 1 year of employment, and continuous training through CEU seminars and volunteering opportunities.Equal Employment Opportunity:As set forth in Compass Health Center's Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law.J-18808-Ljbffr
