Set the social vision, strategic framework, and operating principles for Disney Experiences Define and evolve Disney Experiences' social media strategy and voice across businesses, audiences, platforms, and growth objectives Lead platform-specific and audience-first strategies driving engagement, community growth, cultural relevance, and business impact Use audience insights, performance data, competitive intelligence, and cultural trends to guide priorities and investments Build senior relationships with social platforms and identify emerging tools, features, and capabilities Develop strategies to grow, nurture, and activate Disney Experiences fandom Translate segment, franchise, and business priorities into compelling social strategies and platform-native creative approaches Provide executive oversight of content strategy, production models, and agency partnerships Champion breakthrough and disruptive social storytelling ideas Translate launches, tentpole moments, and always-on priorities into social-first strategies supporting business outcomes Partner with Growth, Lifecycle, Product, Analytics, Commercial, and business teams across consumer journeys and launch plans Optimize social impact across reach, engagement, conversion, reputation, monetization, and fandom KPIs Integrate editorial strategy, publishing priorities, governance, and operating rhythms across channels, businesses, and markets Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team Establish performance reporting, executive insights, and decision-making forums Oversee agency, vendor, and partner strategies Set enterprise-level KPIs for audience development, content performance, engagement, and business impact Leverage UGC, creator behavior, community participation, and organic word-of-mouth Lead innovation initiatives testing emerging platforms, formats, technologies, and features Partner with global advertising and commercial teams on monetization opportunities Requirements Extensive senior-level experience leading digital, social, integrated, or consumer marketing within a complex, consumer-facing organization Demonstrated progression of increasing scope, scale, and enterprise responsibility Executive-level experience as a strategic advisor to senior business and marketing leaders Executive presence, judgment, and communication skills to shape decisions and influence enterprise priorities Experience leading multi-layered, high-performing organizations, developing senior leaders, building organizational capability, setting accountability, and creating an inclusive culture Experience designing and evolving operating models, organizational structures, governance, and ways of working across businesses, functions, markets, and external partners Deep expertise in social and digital ecosystems, including platform strategy, audience development, content innovation, creator and community behaviors, cultural trends, and emerging technologies Ability to translate business, brand, franchise, and consumer priorities into integrated digital/social strategies and mobilize teams and partners Demonstrated success leading transformation and change in a global, highly matrixed environment Strong business and commercial acumen connecting digital and social strategies to measurable outcomes Experience overseeing agency, vendor, platform, and strategic partner relationships Ability to balance creative excellence with operational discipline, brand integrity, governance, and scalable execution Global perspective and experience working across diverse audiences, markets, and business models Exceptional executive communication, storytelling, and influencing skills Leads with partnership, creativity, agility, optimism, and accountability Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive expertise in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement and business impact, while leading high-performing teams and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
