Acute Care Technician - Med Surg Ortho/Neuro PRN/Optional - TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital Location 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242 Work Schedule PRN/Optional The 6300 Medical‑Surgical Unit at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is a 41‑bed unit that specializes in the care of orthopedic, neurosurgery, and trauma patients. Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from total joint replacements—such as knee, hip, and shoulder—as well as those with hip fractures or requiring spinal surgery. Nurses here have the opportunity to refine their skills in areas such as managing pre‑and post‑operative care, pain management, patient mobility, and neurovascular assessments. Please view our benefits page: Job Requirements 2 years High School Education Age 17 with work permit Basic Life Support (BLS) Reading and math ability appropriate to the position Experience as an STNA, PCA or ACT strongly preferred Job Responsibilities Performs and documents basic patient care tasks under RN supervision; maintains competency in trained skills, completes assignments on time, and seeks clarification when needed. Maintains a safe, clean environment by reporting hazards, following Infection Control policies, completing safety event reports, and adhering to safety and emergency procedures.
