Acute Care Technician II - Med Surg Urology Full Time Day Shift - TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital Location: 10500 Montgomery Rd, Montgomery, OH 45242 Work Schedule Full Time Days - (72 hours bi-weekly) 6:30am - 7:00pm Every 3rd weekend rotation Holiday rotation The 6200 Medical‑Surgical Unit at TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital is a dynamic 38‑bed unit specializing in urology care. Patients admitted to this unit often face urological conditions, such as infections and other complications, but our team also treats a wide range of medical patients with complex needs, including diabetes management, and more. The 6200 unit offers a unique environment for both new graduates and seasoned nurses to expand their clinical expertise, focusing on skill development, time management, and the care of diverse patient populations. Nurses on this unit bring advanced technical knowledge in the field of urology, supported by an in‑depth understanding of related pathophysiology and the ability to interpret complex lab results. Job Overview This position provides assistance and/or performs basic activities of daily living and specified treatments and procedures under the direct supervision of the nurse. This position may perform non‑direct patient care activities as assigned, requested, or directed. This position also performs clerical duties as assigned. Must have the interpersonal skill to communicate with respect and compassion to customers. This position also communicates information through various telecommunication devices and assists in coordinating patient flow. Please view our benefits page: Job Requirements 2 years High School Education Age 17 with work permit Basic Life Support (BLS) Reading and math ability appropriate to the position Experience as an STNA, PCA or ACT strongly preferred Job Responsibilities Provides basic patient care under RN supervision; completes assigned tasks accurately and on time. Maintains competency in required skills and seeks clarification when needed. Ensures a safe environment; reports hazards, follows infection control, and adheres to safety/emergency procedures.
