ACCOUNTING OFFICER (SPECIALIST)

Accounting Officer (Specialist) – Department of Rehabilitation Location: Sacramento, CA. Salary: $5,266.00 - $6,591.00 per month. Responsibilities The Accounting Officer (Specialist), under the general direction of the Accounts Payable – Administrative manager (Accounting Administrator I), independently performs the more difficult accounting duties within the FS&R Accounts Payable Administrative & Travel Unit. The role involves reviewing, preparing, and analyzing all types of accounts and records of financial transactions, ranging from simple to more complex difficulty. The position may require considerable communication and contact with accounting administrators, departmental management, state employees, other state control agencies, and third‑party vendors as needed.
