Manufacturing QA Technician II Location: San Leandro, California Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour Position Overview A leading national grocery retailer seeks a Manufacturing QA Technician for a nine-month onsite contract in San Leandro, California. This position maintains food safety and quality standards throughout production through systematic inspection and documentation. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and random quality checks on production lines and finished products Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records Identify and elevate non-conformances and initiate corrective actions Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and applicable food safety regulations Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment Collaborate with production supervisors to resolve quality issues in real time Requirements 2+ years of QA or quality control experience in a food or manufacturing environment Knowledge of GMP and HACCP principles Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a production environment Availability for full onsite assignment in San Leandro, CA Preferred Qualifications Quality certification (ASQ CQT or equivalent) Experience with FSMA regulations Familiarity with statistical quality tools (SPC) Screening Questions How many years of QA experience do you have in food or manufacturing, and what standards?
