Join Our Teamof Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Charleston, SC We are activelyseeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics to become integral members of ourteam based in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will specialize in the repairof reach stackers, diesel heavy-duty forklifts, and construction equipment. Asa pivotal contributor to our maintenance team, you will be instrumental inensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of heavy-dutyequipment. Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues and performnecessary repairs on a range of heavy equipment, including forklifts, railmovers, and reach stackers. Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections touphold equipment longevity and optimal performance. Investigate and efficiently resolve complex mechanical andelectrical problems, minimizing equipment downtime. Replace faulty or worn-out components, ensuring the use ofhigh-quality parts and adherence to manufacturer specifications. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and all maintenanceactivities to contribute to comprehensive equipment history files. Conduct test drives post-repairs to validate the effectiveness ofmaintenance work, ensuring that equipment meets operational standards. Requirements: Must have an in-depth understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, andelectrical components. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolvecomplex mechanical issues. Proficient with OEM computer diagnostic software programs. Welding and fabrication experience. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and adapt to variousweather conditions. Must have your own set of tools. Should have a valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Must be ability to clear a criminal record check and drug screen. Compensation: Comprehensivebenefits package including Dental, Health, Vision, and Matching 401K.
