CNA - LTC Profession: Nurse Aide Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC) Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Full-Time Evenings Hours per Shift: 37.5 hours/week Experience: One (1) year in long-term care or CNA capacity License: Nursing Assistant Certification Certifications: BLS (AHA or RQI) Must-Have: High School Diploma or GED Description:The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be responsible for meeting residents' Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care.This includes assisting with hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence/catheter care, and elimination/toileting needs.The CNA will complete documentation as per protocol. The safety and environment of residents will be maintained in accordance with policies and procedures.Responsibilities include answering call lights promptly, maintaining cleanliness, and monitoring safety equipment.The CNA must also ensure that residents' nutritional needs are addressed, including meal delivery and feeding assistance. Rehabilitative needs will be met in accordance with the plan of care, including assistance with range of motion, ambulation, and proper body alignment.Changes in residents' physical and emotional status must be reported to the appropriate nursing staff without delay.Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is anticipated, and tasks may involve contact with bodily fluids. #J-18808-Ljbffr
